Provided, that the tracks laid by the said company shall con form to the grade of the streets through which they pass and shall be so laid as to present ao unneccsaary obstacle to wagona or other vehicle turning in or crossing tbe street or road through or over which sakl railway may be laid, and shall at its own ex pense 1 e pair and put in as good condition aa they were previous to tho lsyiog of the track tbe streets through which tbe track msy have been constructed. rkc 3. The capital stock of said company shall be twenty nve thousand dollars ($25. 000) In shares of one hundred ($100) each, and may be Increased to a sum not exceed' ing one hundred and fifty thousand dollars $150,000). whenever the Board of Directors shall so determine, and the company shall have the right to borrow money, to make, negotiate and dispose of Its promissory notca. drafts or bonds, and to mortgage any or all of its property or franchise to se cure their payments. On Friday night several hundred persons assembled in the large and superb hall of the Tilestca School building to witness the production on the part of the pupils of "Europe, a Oeogrspillcal Play." Some hundred pupils took part, and the enter tainment wis at once pleasing and highly intVrucUre. Tho performers represented different countries and cities, and the daises of each were duly presented. The oostnaet represented the various countries and flags were borne of many nations. The bearing of the children wts exceedingly good throughout, and the order waa perfect. All did well. At the close of the entertain ment, the national airs of England, Scot" land, Ireland and France were rendered, and very well Indeed Tor their years'; the whole concluded with "Home, Sweet llome," the audience standing and some paiticipating in the aioging. Richmond county voted yesterday upon the question of subset iption by the county to the capital stock of tb.3 South Atlantic Jb Northwestern Railroad Company the road from Smilhville to Bristol, Tenn. Advices from Laurioourg up to 3 p. m. state that the vote for "no subscription" at that place was 433. The total vote of the place is about COO. which it was thought would be cast bsfore the close of the polls. Tbe negroes were voting solidly with tbe whites, for tha first time in their history.
